Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema will not rejoin France’s squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup final.
Benzema is still included in Les Bleus’ 26-man squad despite injury ruling him out of the tournament before kickoff.
The current Ballon d’Or winner has since recovered and there has been talk of him returning to face Argentina on Sunday.
But Ok Diario reports that Benzema will not even travel to Qatar to support the squad.

Benzema has the approval of Real Madrid to travel if he wants, but is not thinking about it.
It is believed the relationship between Benzema and France head, coach Didier Deschamps is not the best.
The player feels that as soon as Deschamps had a chance, he got rid of him.
While it is true Benzema had not fully recovered from his muscle discomfort in the first training session, the coach invited him to leave.
