Argentina superstar Lionel Messi has warned France or Morocco that he is not injured but feels very strong ahead of the World Cup final on Sunday.
Messi was the star man when Argentina crushed Croatia 3-0 in the semi-finals of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World and cruised into the final on Tuesday.
La Albiceleste are now waiting for the winner of the second semi-final involving Morocco and France on Wednesday.
There were fears that the 35-year-old had been injured during the match but the Paris Saint-Germain ace said he feels very strong and ready.
He opened the scoring from the penalty spot with a powerful effort that flew into the roof of the net.
Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez added a second just five minutes later to put Argentina in control, before doubling his tally for the night in the 69th minute.
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was seen holding his thigh at some points in the game but he has now played down concerns over his fitness
Asked how he is feeling after the match, Messi replied: “I feel really good, I feel strong and ready to play each game.”
