Date:

Black stars of Ghana are the lowest ranked team of the 32 heading to the world cup in Qatar come November.

The West African country occupy the 60th position on the log of qualified countries below hosts Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Ecuador who recently defeated the Super Eagles by a lone goal in an international friendly in Texas.

Ghana stopped Nigeria from picking a ticket to the world cup after holding the Eagles to a draw in Abuja and progressing on away goal rule.

The usual top ranked teams maintained their enviable position and will no doubt be expected to rise to the occasion in Qatar though there would be future ranking for coming months heading to the Mundial in November.

The top 10 countries remain Brazil, Belgium, defending champions France, Argentina and England. Others are Spain, Portugal, Mexico ,Netherlands and Denmark.

Euro 2020 Champions Italy who occupy the 6th position on the log will unfortunately be missing at the soccer fiesta.
