Rampant Onuachu nets four goals against Sporting Charleroi

Paul Onuachu scored all four goals in his club, Genk’s 4-1 defeat of visiting Sporting Charleroi in a Belgian Jupiler League game at the Luminus Arena Friday evening.

The Nigerian has been on fire this season and has scored 12 goals in his last seven league games for Genk.

It is the first time in the Belgian Jupiler League Onuachu will be scoring four goals in a game albeit he has scored three hat-tricks in the last two years.

The 28 year old Super Eagles’ goals have consolidated Genk’s lead at the top of the log with 43 points from 16 matches, 10 more than second placed Royal Antwerp.

He has moved into first spot in the top of the top scorers chart with 12 goals, three more than second placed Mario González of Oud-Heverlee Leuven and four above the 3rd placed duo of Hugo Cuypers of Gent and Vincent Janssen of Royal Antwerp.

Onuachu has now brought his total haul to 80 goals in 125 games for Genk across all competitions.
