Rangers Begin Close Camping Ahead 2021/22 NPFL Season

In continuation of its preseason program for the fast approaching 2022/2023 football season, players, coaches, backroom staff, and some management officials of Rangers International F.C, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, arrived Awka, Anambra state capital for a close camping exercise.

The technical crew ably led by coach Abdul Maikaba immediately led the players to its first drill sessions on Wednesday morning at the Awka City stadium where the players went through different drills.

After the morning training session, the captain of the ‘Flying Antelopes’, Uche John said, “I must say that we have not had it this good. The management and coaching crew have shown that they have our good at heart and we have resolved to give our best in the coming season to ensure that we achieve our set target of becoming league champions and playing continental football next season. We have some new players and blending is gradually taking place.”

Anambra state Football Association chairman, Gen. Chikelue Iloenyosi who paid a surprise visit to the team challenged the players to come up with their best in the close camping program while promising to assist the team in actualizing their target for the coming season.
