Real Madrid star, Alaba visits President Tinubu in France

Real Madrid defender, David Alaba paid a visit to Nigeria’s number one citizen, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in France on Friday.

Tinubu was in France to attend the Global Financial Pact Summit, hosted by President Emmanuel Macron.

Alaba was received by President Tinubu during a diaspora engagement with Nigerians living in France.

The former Bayern Munich of German star also presented his club’s jersey to the president to wide applause from other Nigerians at the event

The 31-year-old was born in Vienna, Austria to Nigerian parents.

Alaba’s father, George, is a prince from Ogere Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Despite his Nigerian roots, the versatile defender however opted to represent the Austrian national team.

He has made 101 appearances for Austra with 15 goals to his name.
