Record Holder Tobi Amusan Advances to Semifinals in Women’s 100m Hurdles

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has successfully secured her spot in the semifinals of the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Amusan, the current World Record Holder, demonstrated her exceptional ability by winning her heat comfortably with a time of 12.49 seconds. She dominated the race from start to finish, leaving her competitors trailing behind.

USA’s Alaysha Johnson finished in second place with a time of 12.61 seconds, followed by Jamaica’s Janeek Brown in third place at 12.84 seconds.

Amusan’s effortless performance in the heat has set a promising tone for the upcoming semifinals. As she continues her quest for Olympic glory, the entire nation of Nigeria stands in full support, eagerly anticipating her next race.
