REMINDER: World Athletics Championships Oregon22 – media accreditation deadline is this week

A reminder to written press journalists and photographers wishing to cover the World Athletics Championships Oregon22 to be held on 15-24 July 2022 that they can register online for accreditation.

In order to access the World Athletics online media accreditation system, written press journalists and photographers will need a specific access code. If you wish to attend and do not have an access code, please contact your national athletics federation. For World Athletics Championships, media country quotas are applied.

The deadline for media accreditation is 25 March.

Please note, the media accommodation deadline has now passed. Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield, Comfort Suites Eugene, Quality Inn & Suites and Hampton Inn are now fully booked. However, there is limited availability at Hamilton Hall.

If you require accommodation, please contact the accommodation team of the local organising committee (LOC) at:
accommodation@worldchampsoregon22.com who will assist you with your request.

Please note, all requests will now be managed on a case-by-case basis and availability is not guaranteed. However, the accommodation team will do all they can to assist you in this process.

A full deposit will be required to be paid to secure your accommodation. The LOC will issue the invoice and charge the deposit only after the accreditation request has been approved by World Athletics.

Reservations are subject to a minimum stay of seven nights and requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The payment policies are defined in the accommodation request form.
