Revelation Cup: Super Falcons depart for Mexico today

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will jet off to Leon, Mexico on Saturday (today) for the four-nation invitational tournament tagged Revelation Cup.

Hosts Mexico, Colombia and Costa Rica are the three other teams that will take part in the competition.

All the four countries will use the competition as part of their preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

The competition, which will be staged in two cities, Leon and Guanajuato will run from February 15 -21.

The Super Falcons will face hosts Mexico in their first game on Wednesday, February 15.

The former African champions will take on Colombia three days later and then roundup their campaign Costa Rica on February 21.

The Super Falcons will face Australia, Canada and Republic of Ireland in Group B at the World Cup.
