Ronaldo to miss game against Messi’s Inter Miami

Date:

Al Nassr head coach, Luis Castro, has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will not be available for their friendly with long-term rival Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami on Thursday with a calf injury.

Castro, speaking to reporters on Wednesday, said Ronaldo is not fully recovered.

“Cristiano is in the final part of his recovery to join the group.

“We expect that he can begin to work with the team in the next few days. He will be an element that will be absent from the game,” he said.

The game will be played at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

It had been billed as the final club meeting between Messi and Ronaldo, two supreme footballers who dominated European football for a decade, most notably during their concurrent spells with Real Madrid and Barcelona.
