SA To Sports Minister On Grassroots Sports, Adeboye, Hails Eagles Victory Over Cameroon

Special assistant on Grassroots Sports development, to the honourable minister of sports, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, has showered pleasant encomiums on the super Eagles for their well deserved victory in the round of 16, over the indomitable lions of Cameroon in the ongoing AFCON tournament in Cote D’Ivoire.
Adeboye, added that, the eagles, showed real class and the Nigerian never say die spirit to put the Lions to bed.

He further said, with this kind of palatable performance, he believes, the team can go all the way to clinch the trophy

“i, congratulate Super Eagles players, and the entire coaching and back room staffs, sports loving Nigerians all over the world for the palatable and heart warming victory, and I pray the team goes all the way to bring home the trophy” he said.

“l urged the Eagles to maintain this great level of focus in the Quarter-final clash against Angola, and I am optimistic, they will scale past Angola, by the special grace of God”. He added.

Ademola Lookman’s brace last night gave Super Eagles an emphatic 2-0 victory over one of their fiestest rivals in football.

Super Eagles will clash with Angola in the quarter finals for a place in the semi finals.
