Super Eagles striker, Sadiq Umar, was on target for Almeria in their Spanish Segunda B match up with Mirandes at the Estadio Mideterraneo on Sunday.
The striker scored both goals as Almeria beat their visitors 2-1 to boost their promotion hope.
Sadiq opened the scoring in the 69th minutes when he converted a pass from Puigma Martinez.
The 2021 African Cup of Nations striker added the second three minutes later, following a good work from Portuguese star Dyego Sousa.
The former AS Roma and Rangers forward has now scored 12 goals and recorded 6 assists for the promotion-chasing Almeria.
The three points moved Almeria just within the leaders Eibar — who are has 57 points from 28 matches.
Next for Sadiq Umar and his mates is a trip to the North on Saturday — where they’ll take on Fuenlabrada.
