Salisu Yusuf optimistic ahead Sunday clash vs Ghana

CHAN Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf is optimistic his boys will rise to the occasion on Sunday when they take on their Ghanaian counterparts.

Speaking shortly after recovery training earlier today in Ghana, Yusuf revealed that the team could not train yesterday on arrival but trained today to shape up for the all-important game

He told Nff tv that he has quality players to contain their opponents.

“We played them before in WAFU 2018 we beat them 2-0 and they also beat us in the final though not the same team and not the same coach but we have idea and we will see how we contain them” he enthused .

Tomorrow’s match will come up at 5p.m West African Time (WAT)
