Saudi Pro League: Ighalo Scores, Misses Penalty In Al Hilal Victory

Even though he missed a penalty, former Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Odion Jude Ighalo still got deserved accolades as helped Al Hilal to a comprehensive 3-1 win over Al Batin.

Former Watford FC attacker had the opportunity to put the host ahead in the 45th minute but had his penalty saved by the goalkeeper of the away side.

Chinese International Jang Hayu Soo than netted the opening goal in the early minute of the second half before Yousef Fawas equalised in the 68th minute.

Ighalo put Al Hilal in the lead in the 79th minute before Saleh Al-Shehri missed another penalty for the host.

Carrillo finally sealed the game for Al Hilal with another spot kick in the 91st minute and ensured a maximum point.

The victory ensured that Al Hilal stayed in the third position with 20 points from 9 games.
