Scotland: Dessers scores winner in Rangers’ win at St Mirren

Cyriel Dessers was the hero as Rangers recorded a 2-1 win against St. Mirren at The SMISA Stadium, Paisley on Sunday.

James Bolton handed Rangers the lead after slotting the ball into his own net in the 32nd minute.

The lead lasted five minutes before Mikael Mandron equalised for the home team.

Dessers scored the winning goal 16 minutes from time.

It was the forward’s 20th goal across all competitions for the Light Blues this season.

The Nigeria international was in action for the entire duration of the game.

His compatriot Leon Balogun also featured for 90 minutes in the keenly contested encounter.
