Cyriel Dessers has been awarded Rangers’ Men’s Goal of the Month for January.
The award was given for his stunning goal in Rangers’ 2-1 UEFA Europa League loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Nigeria international latched onto a long pass from captain James Tavernier in the 83rd minute.
Dessers cleverly used his body to position himself ahead of defender Harry Maguire, then, with a smooth touch on his left foot, he curled the ball into the bottom corner.
The 30-year-old has been in excellent form lately, contributing five goals and two assists in his last five appearances.
Rangers will take on Queen’s Park in a Scottish Cup fifth-round match on Sunday.
