Senegal Trash South Africa to Book #U17FWC Ticket, Potential Clash v Nigeria

Senegal U-17 have booked their tickets to FIFA U-17 World Cup after beating South Africa 5-0 in the first Quarterfinal clash at the ongoing AFCON U-17.

The Young Teranga Lions continued their remarkable run of form that has seen them scored 12 goals without conceding any.

They won all their three Group games scoring 7 goals without conceding any goal, and they took it to the next level beating South Africa 5-0 in the quarterfinal.

Two owngoals by Waylon Renneck, and Benjamin Wallace in the 36th, and 38th minutes gave Senegal a 2-0 lead, Mamadou Sadio scored the third in 44 minutes.

Amara Diouf then scored a brace in the 54th, and 71st minutes to take his tally at the tournament to five and also completed the 5-0 rout.

Senegal 5-0 South Africa

They will now face the winner of the quarterfinal between Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
