Simone Inzaghi has explained his Inter choices against Spezia and wants to see ‘a sense of consistency’ after recent victories.

“I think this is going to be a tough and very tricky game for us. Spezia are doing very well this season, we need to interpret it the right way,” Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
Lautaro Martinez was expected to start with Joaquin Correa, but instead it is Edin Dzeko who plays, while once again Robin Gosens does not get a start.
“The forwards did well last time, but playing every three days we need to take it one game at a time. We need to make the most of our characteristics, whether we are facing Spezia, Milan or Roma.”
The Nerazzurri are right back in the Scudetto race after beating Juventus and Hellas Verona with clean sheets.
“We needed those victories, as before that we created many chances and didn’t finish them off or do enough to bring home the result.
“Now we need to give a sense of consistency to those wins and we have prepared well.”
