Serie A: Inter Milan GM Marotta determined to keep Chelsea striker Lukaku

Inter Milan General Manager, Beppe Marotta, is determined to keep hold of Romelu Lukaku.

The on-loan Chelsea striker is over his thigh injury and on the brink of a playing return.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Marotta is in talks with Chelsea about extending Lukaku’s loan for another year.

And for the moment, Chelsea have offered Marotta encouragement in negotiations.

Marotta’s ultimate aim is to eventually buy back Lukaku at the end of next season.
