Serie A: Lukaku has no intentions for Chelsea return as Inter push for another loan

Romelu Lukaku has no intentions of returning to Chelsea after his loan spell ends with Inter Milan.

Lukaku re-joined Inter Milan for a season-long loan after his club-record £97.5m move to Chelsea in August last year ended in acrimony.

The Belgium striker fell out with former boss Thomas Tuchel after scoring just eight Premier League goals in 2021-22.

Reports had speculated whether Lukaku could get a fresh chance at Stamford Bridge after Graham Potter replaced Tuchel in the Blues hotseat.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Lukaku still does not want a return to west London.

Inter do not have a buy option and will look to loan the 29-year-old once again for the 2023-24 season.
