Former Inter Milan striker, Arturo Di Napoli, has told Napoli to keep Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen for at least one more season.
The former Inter Milan star was asked who he thinks should be sold this summer between the Nigerian striker and the Senegalese defender.
And Di Napoli thinks Kalidou Koulibaly should be one leaving this summer having spent many years at the club.
Osimhen and Koulibaly are being linked with a move away from the Italian side with clubs in the Premier League and Serie A credited with interest.
Koulibaly has been playing nonstop at Napoli since 2014 after joining from Belgian Pro League side Racing Genk, scoring 14 goals in 317 appearances.
Di Napoli explained why Napoli should let Koulibaly go but ensure their record acquisition, Osimhen stays.
“Who would you sacrifice between Koulibaly and Osimhen? Kalidou has been there for many years and maybe he wants to experience new emotions, ” Di Napoli told TMW Radio, via Mondo Napoli.
“Victor can perhaps stay a year for the final consecration. At this point I would sacrifice the Senegalese. We know De Laurentiis, perhaps Spalletti will have to expect some surprises.”
