Victor Osimhen was on target again as Napoli survived a late scare to beat Udinese 3-2 in their Serie A clash at the Diego Amando Maradona Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Osimhen opened scoring for Luciano Spalletti’s side in the 15th minute after he was teed up by Elf Elmas.
Piotr Zielinski and Elmas added two more goals for the home team.
Udinese however came back into the game with North Macedonia forward Illija Nestorovski reducing the deficit in the 79th minute.
Nestorovski was set up for the goal by another Nigerian Isaac Success.
Lazar Samardzic further reduced the deficit eight minutes from time.
Osimhen was in action for the entire duration of the game.
The 23-year-old has now scored seven goals in his last six Serie A games.
The Nigeria international who missed an entire month of action due to injury is currently top of the Serie A scoring charts with nine goals.
