Serie A: Red-hot Lookman maintains scoring run in Atalanta’s defeat to Inter Milan

Date:

Ademola Lookman continued his impressive scoring run as Atalanta fell to 3-2 home defeat to Inter Milan at the Gewiss Stadium, Bergamo on Sunday afternoon.

The Nigeria international opened scoring for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side from the penalty spot on 25 minutes.

Lookman has now scored six league goals in eight games since the start of October.

His international teammate, Victor Osimhen is the only player in the Italian top-flight that has more in that duration.

The 25-year-old has scored seven goals in 15 league appearances for La Dea this season.

Lookman linked up with Atalanta from Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig last summer.

Atalanta have now lost their last three Serie A games and continue to slide down the standings, having been in second position only a couple of weeks ago.
