Seyi Johnson becomes president WheelChair Basketball

A top management staff of Nigeria’s foremost sports management company, Nilayo Sports Management Limited, Mr. Seyi Johnson, has emerged the new president of the Nigeria Wheelchair Basketball Federation.

Mr. Johnson, today at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, was voted unopposed by the board of the Nigeria Wheelchair Basketball Federation, in an elevtive congress supervised by the Federal Ministry of Sports and Youth Development.

Mr. Seyi Johnson, said minutes ago after his victory at the election, that, his watchwords will be to help qualify Nigeria for the All Africa Games and also for the next edition of the Olympic Games in Paris, France, from 26 July to 11 August 2024.

He noted that, his commitment as the new president of the federation, will be to bring back the glory days of wheelchair basketball in Nigeria and indeed in Africa, even better than what it was during the reign of Chief Bukola Olopade, as president of the federation. I will surely continue from where Chief Olopade stopped with a bid to take the sport to another level.
