This summer looks set to provide yet more change to the first-team at Pride Park, with a number of players’ departures already confirmed .
David Nugent, Marcus Olsson, Efe Ambrose, Ashley Cole and Alex Pearce are the first-team players “not currently offered new terms”.
Loan trio Harry Wilson, Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount will also return to parent clubs Liverpool and Chelsea respectively following successful campaigns on loan with the Rams.
Jacob Butterfield, Nick Blackman and Bradley Johnson have all signed 12-month extensions to their contracts earlier this season on vastly reduced terms compared to what they were on in the previous years.
And Craig Bryson, who is out of contract this summer, is currently in negotiations with the club over a new deal at Pride Park.
