Should Frank Lampard do with Chris Martin, Jayden Bogle and the rest of the Derby County squad?

The Rams were agonisingly close to promotion to the Premier League, but came up just short as they lost 2-1 to Aston Villa in the Championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium.

The loss meant that Derby will be spending their 12th consecutive season in the second tier of English football.

Despite the defeat, the season should be considered a success when you factor that it was Frank Lampard’s first season in charge, and the amount of changes that were made to the squad.

This summer looks set to provide yet more change to the first-team at Pride Park, with a number of players’ departures already confirmed .

And Craig Bryson, who is out of contract this summer, is currently in negotiations with the club over a new deal at Pride Park.
