Smart City Begin FA Cup Quest Against Bethel FC

Smart City football club of Lagos, will today trade tackles with Bethel fc, in a round of 32 clash in the Lagos fa cup, by 4pm, at the Mobolaji Johnson stadium, onikan Lagos.

City got a shock exit from the tournament in last year’s edition, as they lost their very first game of the tournament to Real Sapphire.
City players, has promised to leave no stone unturned, when they face Bethel in the round of 32 clash in the fa cup today.
The players have put in a lot of hard work for this game, because they know what is at stake and what their fans are expecting from them.

Inform striker, Chinonso Uzoma, has said that he and his team mates will do everything humanly possible to win this game and make sure they progress to the next round of the tournament.
“The only thing in our minds is victory, we know what is at stake and we know what is expected of us, so we will go all out and give our best to make sure we secure victory” he said

Defensive midfield general, Gaffar Ojo, who has played a pivotal role for city this season, has declared war on bethel, saying they will not in anyway underrate their opponents in this very important clash.
“In the fa cup, there are no minors, that’s why we will not take our opponents lightly, we will go all out on them and make sure we sink them with goals and make our fans and management happy at the end of the day” he added.

Meanwhile, City feeders team, who lost in the final to Ikorodu Utd last year, will also begin their fa cup battle against Utility Sports fc by 12pm, on Thursday at the Mobolaji Johnson stadium, Lagos.
