Smart City Chairman Congratulates Sporting Lagos For Super 8 Ticket

Smart city chairman and former Senior special assistant on Sports to Lagos state governor, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, has congratulated Sporting Lagos fc, for picking a ticket to the NNL super eight playoffs.

The Lagos based team defeated, fellow Lagos team, smart city 4-0 to clinch the last slot for the NNL playoffs, to determine the four teams that will qualify for the NPL, next season.

Adeboye, who watched the game via live stream, has also backed the Lagos based team to pick a ticket to the NPL next season.

“Congratulations to Sporting Lagos for picking a ticket to the NNL playoffs. They gave a good fight for the ticket and I am happy that a Lagos based team is among the playoffs teams and i know by the grace of God they will achieve success in the playoffs”, he said.

“It will be a thing of joy to see a Lagos team back in the NPL, that’s why we will continue to give sporting Lagos, all the necessary support they need to get a ticket to the apex league of Nigerian football”, he added.
 
Sporting Lagos, will compete with, Seven other teams in the playoffs for a place in the NPL next season.
