Smart City, reliable and long serving assistant captain Afeez Bankole, is set to Wed his sweetheart, Khadijat Oritoke, this weekend, in Ogun state.
Afeez and Khadijat, who has been dating for some years now, will be tying the nuptial knots this weekend, at Ijebu owu ikija, Ogun state.
Afeez, who found his missing rib in Khadijat, is elated that he will be getting married to the love of his life and to a woman who understands him perfectly well.
The former Nasarawa United reliable and trusted right back further said that getting married to Khadijat is one of the best things to happen to him, saying she’s a woman God chose for him.
“I must say, it’s a dream come true for me to get married to a woman I love so much, the first day I set my eyes on her, I knew she was the woman for me, we have been dating for a few years now, and it’s quite fulfilling to marry a gracious woman”‘, he said.
“This wedding is purely ordained by God, because, Khadijat understands me and my job as a footballer and she has supported me all the way, so, I am heavily grateful to God for giving me such a special woman as a wife”, he concluded.
