Everton boss Frank Lampard has warned they’re not safe ahead of going to Watford on Wednesday.
Lampard is at pains to stress Everton’s recent form is not enough to stay in the Premier League and that there is a need to keep going.
“My mood has definitely lifted,” he says. “It is what football does to you. Tough results are difficult. We are all human. The important thing is to stay balanced. Yes the mood has lifted, tap into the good side of that. Then guard against the fact that can bring an over confidence. It’s important we have a good mood but understand there is work to do.
“These players are good lads. They want the best for this club. Now they are getting some rewards for the attitude.

“The support we have had since I’ve been here has been incredible. It has ramped up in the last few weeks. We needed that. We are very thankful. At the same time we have to win matches on the pitch.
“The only message for us is as much as he enjoyed the weekend, it’s very dangerous now to relax on that. We can talk about fans and atmosphere. As players and staff, the only message now is to finish the job. There is absolutely no way we can relax.”
