Spain: Super Eagles midfielder, Nwakali assures he will be back from injury soon

Date:

Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali has assured he will soon make a return from injury.

Nwakali sustained an injury in his club’s SD Ponferradina 1-0 defeat to Malaga on Saturday.
The Nigerian was replaced by Ghana midfielder, Sabit Abdulahi in the 57th minute.
The 24-year-old, according to the Spanish Segunda Division club, will spend few weeks on the sidelines.

Nwakali is, however, positive despite the setback and is looking forward to returning to the pitch once again.

“Thanks guys for all the messages yesterday (Saturday), will be back soon,” he assured on his Twitter account.

He has made 16 appearances for Ponferradina this season with just a goal to his name.

Ponferradina are just a point above the relegation zone after 17 rounds of matches.
