SPOCS U19 Scouting Tournament: European Top Sides Confirm Their Coming

No fewer than 10 European top sides have confirmed their availability for the fast approaching SPOCS U19 Scouting tournament, holding in Nigeria, between November 15 – November 20, 2024 at Ikenne, Remo in Ogun state.

According to organisers, AIK FC Sweden, Club Brugge Belgium, FC Zimbru Moldova, Hoffenheim FC Germany, Parma FC Italy are some of the clubs sending their directors for the program.

Others are Grazer AK Austria, Sturm Graz Austria, LASK Austria, Rapid Vienna Austria and Zabrze FC Poland.

SPOCS have had similar tournaments at the same venue last year at Ikenne, Remo and also in Abuja and Bayelsa, with over 28 teams scheduled to participate in this year’s edition.

Their passionate drive and quest to ensure that every talented footballer in Africa is scouted and giving opportunity to live their dream, propelled them to also hold similar successful programs in Tanzania, Gambia, Egypt, Sierra -Leone, Liberia amongst other African countries.

Their Founder/CEO, Sascha Empacher have had good working relationship and breakthrough with big name African players such as Mohamed Salah, Baba Rahman, Adama Bojang, Mohammed Elneny amongst others whom he discovered and moved to Europe through programs like this.

They already have new generation of young players like Emmanuel Chukwu and Benjamin Precious, Hoffenheim Germany and Victory Beniangba, Servette Switzerland.
