SPOCS U19 Tournament Gets November 20 Kickoff Date

SPOCS U -19 Scouting Tournament has been scheduled to kickstart November 20 – November 25, organisers have said.

The program which will parade over 20 top academy teams from various locations in Nigeria, will hold at the elegant Remo stars stadium at Ikenne, Ogun state.

SPOCS Nigeria director and CEO Grassrunners FC, Gbenga Agbejoye, said it’s going to be another five days of topnotch grassroots football that will showcase the best of the best in the country.

“SPOCS is known for excellence and I can assure you that come November 20, we will light up Remo stadium with the best of grassroots football.

“We have taken our time to select top sides that rank the best to be part of this program, he revealed to us exclusively in a phone conversation earlier in the week.

“If you think the program we had last year was great, this year promises to even be bigger and better.

“Teams like Beyond Limits, Grassrunners, Jobi FC, SGFC Athletics, Utility Sports FC, Carina FC to mention a few are going to be part of the scouting exercise”, he concluded.

Some of the talents discovered at the last edition of the program are living their football dreams in different clubs in Europe. Emmanuel Chukwu and Benjamin Precious are with SK Sturm Graz in Austria, Toheeb Kosoko is playing with Turkish side, Ümraniyespor Kulübü amongst many others.

Top scouts from various teams in Europe will grace the program led by enigmatic Sascha Empacher, CEO/Founder SPOCS worldwide.
