The Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh extends warm congratulations to Tobi Amusan for her extraordinary accomplishment in setting a new African women’s indoor record in the 60-meter hurdles at the Astana Indoor Meet in Kazakhstan.

Tobi Amusan’s outstanding performance at the meet showcased not only her exceptional athleticism but also her unwavering dedication to the sport. Clocking an impressive 7.77 seconds, Amusan not only secured victory but also etched her name in history by erasing the longstanding record of 7.82 seconds set by Glory Alozie in 1999.
