Chelsea will consider offers for winger Raheem Sterling this summer if Michael Olise arrives at Stamford Bridge, sources have told Football Insider.
And in a new twist, Sterling could find himself even further down the pecking order as Chelsea step up their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Olise this week.
Preliminary talks have already begun over a potential deal for the French attacking sensation, who has a complex release clause that begins at £60million.
The France Under-21 international is a long-term target at Stamford Bridge, with the London club unsuccessful in an attempt to sign him in 2023.
Competition in the winger spots will be high if Olise arrives and sources say Chelsea could be willing to let one wide player leave.
Sterling has faced criticism from fans and pundits alike for his lack of output since moving from Man City to Chelsea two years ago.
