Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has been appointed into the Technical Expert’s team of the FIFA World cup in Qatar. Oliseh whose relationship with the NFF ended on an ugly note while he was in charge of the national team, expressed delight at the Mundial appointment revealing that his assignment has already started.
The former Fortuna Sittard coach is particularly happy that he will be teaming up with former Arsenal boss and now FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development think tank, Arsene Wenger, former Germany international Jurgen Klinnsman among others.

Qatar 2022 is looking great and ready” he enthused via his twitter handle. The former Juventus and Borussia Dortmund ace, made 54 appearances for the Super Eagles between 1993 and 2002 as a player with two goals to his credit.
Super Eagles will be missing in Qatar following the team’s failure to qualify for the event considered the apogee of soccer celebration in the world. The team then led by former international Austin Eguavoen failed to survive a two legged playoff against West African neighbours Ghana. African countries who will be at the World Cup which kicks off next month include Nations cup champions Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Cameroon and Ghana.
