Super Eagles’ Camp To Open Septmber 7 In Dnipro

The Super Eagles’ camp is scheduled to open on Saturday, September 7th in Dnipro, Ukraine, ahead of next month’s high-profile international friendly against the East European country, with all the invited players expected to report direct to the host nation from their club bases.

While all the foreign-based players are billed to start arriving on the 7th and 8th, the delegation of assistant coaches, backroom staff and home-based goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa are scheduled to land in Dnipro in the first week of September.

This much was disclosed by Eagles’ media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, who confirmed that preparations for the September 10 match are already in top gear, but admitted that a final word is yet to come on the exact date the home delegation will fly out.

He, however, affirmed that the Eagles’ camp will open in in the city of Dnipro, Ukraine, where the match will hold at one of the country’s iconic football venues on September 10, which should give the Nigerian team at least two days to settle and train before the encounter.

Ibitoye stated: “(Our flight to Ukraine has not been) confirmed yet, but it will be any time in the first week of September – between 4th and 7th.”
