Super Eagles goalkeeper, Uzoho wins Cypriot Cup with Omonia Nicosia

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho was in fantastic form as Omonia Nicosia clinched the Cypriot Cup courtesy of a 1-0 victory against AEL Limassol.

It was Uzoho’s second trophy since his arrival at Nicosia on a free transfer in 2021.

Omonia Nicosia also won the trophy last season.

The 24-year-old kept his second clean sheet in the competition for the Clover.

Omonia Nicosia have now won the Cypriot Cup 16 times.

Sofronis Avgousti’s side will compete in the UEFA Europa league next season following the successful defence of their title.

Uzoho earned rave reviews for his performance in the Europa League this season.
