Fidelis Ilechukwu and Ladan Bosso are among the candidates being considered for assistant coaching roles with the Super Eagles.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reportedly chosen former Sweden head coach Janne Andersson to lead the team.
At 61, Andersson will bring in two Swedish assistants, while the NFF will select the local coaches to work alongside them.
Bosso and Ilechukwu are strong candidates to work with the Swede, according to SCORENigeria.
Ilechukwu led Rangers to win the Nigeria Premier Football League ( NPFL) title last season.
He also enjoyed successful stints at defunct MFM FC and Plateau United.
Bosso was until recently the the coach of the country’s U-20 side, the Flying Eagles.
He is currently the coach of NPFL club Bayelsa United.
