Super Six Kick Off Rescheduled

Against the earlier advertised dates of June 9-18, the super six female league has been rescheduled to hold between June 6-11 with all the matches now going to be played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.

According to the Nigeria Women Female League (NWFL),in a statement last night, the change became inevitable to meet the exigencies of the June 12 deadline set by CAF for the submission of names of countries champions for the WAFU zone B play offs ahead the continental champions league.

Despite this sudden change, the local organisers confirmed last night that it was ever ready to play the good host.

The participating teams expected to arrive Asaba Monday, include defending champions Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, FC Robbo, Confluence Queens, Rivers Angels and host, Delta Queens.
