The search for a professional football club for Grassrunners FC flying winger, Angelo Agbejoye has finally ended, as Swedish outfit,
Djurgårdens IF has officially engaged the talented Nigerian youngster.
Agbejoye joined the prominent, multi-sport club based in Stockholm, Sweden, after unsuccessful bids with Hannover, Nottingham Forest, Man City and most recently AIK where he was positioned to replace Zanok Yohanna who joined Brighton in a big money move.

The 18 year old player is a technically gifted footballer who combines speed, skills and technique to mesmirize his opponents. He operates as a right winger or from the attacking midfield position.
Agbejoye is a member of the current national U-20 Flying Eagles squad that is preparing to represent Nigeria at the Africa Youth Championship (AYC).
Full details of his contract with Djurgårdens IF are yet to emerge. Founded in 1891, the club competes in the Allsvenskan, the highest tier of Swedish football, and plays its home matches at the Tele2 Arena.
Speaking about the move, Grassrunners FC Chief Executive Officer, Gbenga Agbejoye described it as a reward for hardwork, dedication and excellence.
“The entire Grassrunners FC family is still in celebration mode. The news was received with deep joy but we were not surprised because Angelo has been consistently in super form.
“He has served the club deligently and we wish him the very best in this new chapter of his career”.
