His standout performances at FC Internazionale Enugu earned him a spot in the provisional squad of the Flying Eagles, Nigeria’s U-20 national team, in January 2013. Although he did not make the final roster for the 2013 African U-20 Championship, his inclusion at such a young age speaks volumes about his potential.
