TikTok content creator Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, has confirmed that she has ended her relationship with fellow influencer and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb, also known as Peller, while urging the public to stop mocking him following his recent car crash during a livestream.

Jarvis made the disclosure in a live video shared online on Tuesday, as reactions continued to trail Peller’s hospitalisation after the incident on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos.

Addressing comments circulating online about the crash and their relationship, Jarvis said public ridicule was compounding an already difficult situation and called for restraint.

She stressed that the incident should not be used to judge Peller’s character, noting that she had never presented him as a bad person.

According to her, Peller’s main challenge is emotional regulation, not ill intent, adding that the focus should be on helping him improve rather than assigning blame.

Jarvis confirmed that they are no longer together but said the decision was necessary and should not be interpreted as abandonment.

She explained that the separation was aimed at creating space for healing and growth, insisting that the priority was Peller’s wellbeing rather than the status of their relationship.

The influencer also appealed to supporters and social media users to stop spreading what she described as harmful narratives and mockery, saying such reactions only deepen the pain surrounding the incident.

Expressing distress over the online backlash, Jarvis urged the public to be grateful that no life was lost and to focus on recovery and emotional stability for everyone involved.

She added that while she still cares for Peller, both parties need time to regain balance and clarity.

Jarvis concluded that breakups do not always arise from hostility, but can be driven by the need for calm, healing and perspective.

Peller sparked concern on Sunday after crashing his car during a live Instagram broadcast on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

During the livestream, he was seen driving alone in his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz while visibly distressed during a phone conversation, amid reports of a relationship breakdown.

The vehicle later veered off the road and struck a barrier. Videos that surfaced online showed bystanders assisting him before he was taken to hospital for treatment.
