President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration is taking decisive action to address food security and combat hunger.
Speaking to the nation on Sunday morning, President Tinubu outlined the steps being taken, including meetings with governors and key ministers to boost food production.
The goal is to cultivate over 10 million hectares of land for essential food crops.

The president explained that the federal government will offer necessary incentives, while state governments will provide land to create jobs and increase food production.
Additionally, Tinubu revealed that his administration has ordered advanced mechanized farming equipment, including tractors and planters, from the United States, Belarus, and Brazil, valued in the billions of Naira.
This equipment is en route to Nigeria and underscores the administration’s commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity and ensuring access to affordable, nutritious food for all Nigerians.
