Tite, Neymar’s coach during the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, has praised the star’s return to Santos.
In an Instagram post, the 63-year-old coach expressed his pride and confidence in witnessing Neymar showcase his best football once again.
“Neymar, seeing you happy today is gratifying, not just because I was your coach, but because I see that you have a heart and a soul like no other. You decided to return home and, for me, it was the best thing to do, and I have absolute certainty that you will return to the highest level. Character and humility, you have a lot of that, and you understood that you needed to return, few do that. I’m very happy and proud of you, boy. Have an excellent season. I’ll be here cheering and vibrating for your success. A big hug”.
Neymar, making his re-debut for Santos today against Botafogo-SP at Vila Belmiro in the seventh round of Paulistão 2025, is focused on returning to the Brazilian national team for the 2026 World Cup.
