Transfer: AC Milan target Akor as replacement for Giroud

Serie A giants, AC Milan are eyeing a move for Montpellier forward, Jerome Akor as a replacement for Olivier Giroud.

Giroud, who turned 37 in September, has few years left in the game.

The Rooseneri consider Akor as a long-term successor to the Frenchman.

Ivory Coast international, Serhou Guirassy and Canada’s Jonathan David are also under consideration at the club.

Akor joined Ligue 1 club, Montpellier from Norwegian outfit, Lillestrom in the summer.

The 23-year-old has scored seven goals in 11 league outings for La Paillade.
