Transfer: Alebiosu leaves Arsenal as Hezonja joins Real Madrid

Arsenal on Thursday confirmed that defender Ryan Alebiosu has left the club to join Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on a season-long loan.

Arsenal made the announcement in a statement via its website.

The statement read in part, “Ryan Alebiosu has joined Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on a season-long loan.

“The 20-year-old signed his first professional contract with us in the summer of 2020 and has been showing his versatility ever since at the academy.

“We wish Ryan all the best for his loan spell at Kilmarnock and look forward to seeing his continued development.”

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have confirmed that Mario Hezonja has joined the club’s basketball team.

Real Madrid disclosed this in a statement via its website on Thursday.

The statement partly read, “Mario Hezonja (25/02/1995, Dubrovnik, Croatia) has joined Real Madrid for the next two seasons.

“At 27, the Croatian small forward is one of the most talented players on the European basketball scene.

“In last season’s EuroLeague, he averaged 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and a 14.2 of PIR, and possesses experience in both the ACB and NBA.”
