Transfer: Andres Gomes moves from Everton to LOSC Lille of France

Everton midfielder André Gomes has signed for LOSC Lille on loan for the rest of this season.

The Portuguese veteran, who is now 29, has been with Everton since the summer of 2019.

However, an ankle injury he sustained early in his Toffees career has derailed his progress at the club.

He will now be hoping to gain regular first-team football in France’s Ligue 1 this season.

Gomes harbours hopes of being a regular for Portugal at the World Cup this winter as well.
