Manchester United on Tuesday officially announced the signing of Antony.
Antony joined Man United from Ajax.
The Red Devils disclosed this in a statement via its website.
“Manchester United has reached agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Antony, subject to a medical, player terms being finalised, and international clearance,” the statement read.
“Antony has 31 goals and 27 assists in 134 club appearances for Ajax and Sao Paulo and two goals and two assists in nine senior appearances for his native Brazil.
“He has won two Eredivisie titles, and a gold medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics.”
In a related development, Chelsea on Tuesday confirmed that winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has left the club to join Bayer Leverkusen on loan.
In a statement via its website, Chelsea said, “Callum Hudson-Odoi will spend the rest of the 2022/23 season on loan in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen.
“The Cobham graduate moves to the Bundesliga for the rest of the campaign, having been an unused substitute in our last three Premier League fixtures. The Blues have the option to recall Callum in January.”
