Transfer: Aubameyang’s move to Chelsea could collapse over Barcelona’s demands

Date:

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s move to Chelsea could collapse over Barcelona’s demands.

The former Arsenal captain has “almost agreed” personal terms with the Blues.

However, Chelsea is not ready to pay the €30 million transfer fee the Ligue 1 giants are asking for to sell Aubameyang.

“Chelsea have almost agreed on personal terms with Pierre Aubameyang in the last 24h, but have no intention to pay crazy money to Barcelona. No way to close the deal for €30m.

“Chelsea wants to invest around £15m – otherwise they could walk away from the deal. Work in progress,” transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted on Friday.

Aubameyang only joined Barca in the January window after his contract at the Emirates was terminated.
