Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, is reportedly preparing to include Mikayil Faye in a bid to secure Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig this summer.
The Catalan club has also proposed a fixed fee of €40 million, with an additional €20 million in bonuses, for the Spanish midfielder, according to Catalan outlet El Nacional.
However, RB Leipzig has rejected Barcelona’s initial offer, insisting on receiving the entire €40 million upfront within this transfer window.

Olmo, who was instrumental in Spain’s victory at Euro 2024 in Germany, scored three goals and provided two assists during the tournament.
The 26-year-old’s standout performance has heightened his value in the current transfer market.
